Driving home last night through the thick fog, it was probably not a good idea to be mentally running through scenarios of oncoming large vehicles suddenly appearing, bearing down on me at 45+ MPH without also actively making sure that there actually weren't any oncoming large vehicles bearing down on me at 45+ MPH.

I should wash my car more often than I do, especially in the winter, but there's a certain aversion to it that is triggered by the anticipated sadness of "ooh shiny" being replaced by "eew salty." The weather forecast reinforces this: when I have the bright idea to wash my car, I check the weather report; if I see snow predicted in the next few days, the idea gets tabled quick.

Which is too bad, 'cause I think my car looks pretty when it's all shiny and stuff.
